They are the organ-system by which imagination becomes tactical: a living interface for holding impossible ranges until reality clicks. After synthetic intellect eats cleverness, the rare asset is fertile unreality.
People with liminal glands are not valuable because they predict the board. They become dangerous because they can imagine a new board with native weather, rules, uniforms, exits, and stakes. In a world where synthetic intellect compresses ordinary cleverness, the rare faculty is not optimization but fertile unreality: the ability to sense an unopened domain before it has coordinates.
A key is a held range: a compressed star-sector, a mood, a cluster of islands, a set of coordinates tightened long enough to travel. You do not merely remember the key. You perform it until the lock accepts your temperature, your character, your private weather. The burning key is self-expression made precise enough to move through.
Dreams are encrypted meanings. Lucidity is the combination lock. The security problem is anti-porosity: proving structure without letting the platform drink from it. Zero knowledge becomes a veil for the psyche, a way to preserve the sacred witness while still passing through doors, hatches, checkpoints, and hostile inference systems.
Below the mapped city, a heist tunnel runs through GPUs, wind shafts, diamonds, vault doors, dream residue, silk, uniforms, and the cold breath of underground fans. The job is not simply robbery. It is withdrawal from the map-prison: stealing imagination back before the telepathic economy prices it, profiles it, and sells it as access.
